Daniele Damiano

Damiano was born in 1961 in Asti, Italy, and graduated from Verdi Conservatory of Turin in 1982. Before coming to the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, he was a principal of bassoon in the RAI (Italian Radio) Orchestra of Turin (1982-85) and in the Vienna Philharmonic (1985-87).

Lau Wen Rong

Section Trumpet with the Singapore Symphony Orchestra and Prizewinner of the International Trumpet Guild (ITG) Solo Competition in 2013, Lau Wen Rong completed his Master’s Degree with Raymond Mase at The Juilliard School under the Frieda and Harry Aronson Scholarship.

Jeremy Chua

Jeremy started learning the clarinet during his secondary school days. Because of his passion for music, he went to the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) to pursue his music education. He obtained his Diploma of Music Performance (Orchestra studies). He studied with SSO assistant principal, Tang Xiao Ping.

Jeffrey Khaner

Born in 1958 in Montreal, Canada, Khaner studied at The Juilliard School under the tutelage of the late Julius Baker. After serving as co-principal of the Pittsburgh Symphony and principal of the Cleveland Orchestra and Atlantic Symphony Orchestra, he has been Principal Flute of the Philadelphia Orchestra since 1990.

Teo Boon Chye

Boon Chye is a saxophonist extraordinaire, playing the soprano, alto, tenor and even the baritone saxophones. He is also adept at playing the clarinet, obtaining a Grade 8 clarinet (Honours) from Lasalle Academy.

David Bilger

David Bilger has held the position of principal trumpet of The Philadelphia Orchestra since 1995. Prior to joining the Orchestra, he held the same position with the Dallas Symphony.

Nobuya Sugawa

Nobuya Sugawa is an internationally acclaimed saxophonist whom Japan is very much proud of. He has assumed a role of the concert master of Tokyo Kosei Wind Orchestra for almost 22 years from 1989 through 2010. Currently along with the activities as a soloist, he performs as a member of Trouvère Quartet. He also serves as the resident conductor of Yamaha Symphonic Band, and is a visiting professor of Tokyo University of Arts.

Mathieu Dufour

Mathieu Dufour is principal flute of the Berliner Philharmoniker, a position he has held since 2014. Before coming to Berlin, he was principal flute of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra from 1999 to 2014.
